De mãos dadas pelo Martim
Site for Martim's fundraising campaign: where to drop off bottle caps, events, album, a support wall and a panel for the parents to keep it all updated.

Before & after
Before
A WordPress site with a bought theme, Elementor and machine translation: one 21,000 px page whose first screen gave no action, with the IBAN hidden in FAQ question 6 and the 14 collection points in one run-on paragraph.
After
A new name, domain and identity (“Martim’s notebook”), with 64 pages in PT and EN and a panel so the parents can update everything themselves. The proposal estimated weeks on WordPress; it became a custom site in 4 days.

What we improved
- The first screen explains the gesture and the maths, with two clear actions: where to drop off caps, and donate
- IBAN visible with a copy button and “Donate” always at hand
- Collection points in a filterable table and a map with “nearest to me”
- Hand-written English, AA contrast, 18 px body text and reduced motion respected
- SEO, security (CSP, SRI) and cookie-less stats
What we added
- “The bottle-cap challenge” game, with a friendship diploma and a friends wall
- Games page, map, A4 poster with QR code and an 8-page PDF booklet
- 12 past events imported, a photo and video album
- Parents’ panel: news, events, album, collection points and results

The highlight
The bottle-cap challenge
Sorting caps properly is what makes the campaign pay, so we teach it through play. One item at a time, four bags, hints when you get it wrong and, at the end, a Friend of Martim diploma to keep, share on social media and pin to the wall. It is the most engaging part of the site: people who play stay, share and come back to beat their own score.
- Three levels, from easy to hard with trick items
- Items rotate, so every round is different
- Diploma as an image, ready to share
- A wall with the top 10 for each level
